CPC has supported the Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) for many years – and this year was no exception. “We sponsored 20 children and an additional 8 families who specifically requested help for food,” said CPC’s Nike Thorpe. “Our sponsorship of these families means a lot to us at CPC. Christmas is a season for giving thanks and showing love, hope and joy through serving others, especially the less fortunate. We hope that we can touch the lives of the children and their families in some small way so that they experience a big impact on their lives. CPC has been blessed over the years and we want to pass that on by blessing others.” MAC believes in the benefits of encouraging self-sufficiency while providing prevention assistance to low income working households in Atlanta.
