For the second year in a row, CPC Advisors has been named one of the top RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) firms in the country by USA Today and Statista. It’s no small feat. There were 32,600 RIA firms at the end of 2022 that managed about $115 trillion in assets. Only 500 were singled out for this level of distinction. The ranking is based on the growth of the companies’ assets under management (AUM) over the short and long term and the number of recommendations they received from clients and peers.
“While some people just want an RIA to manage their investment portfolio, most are looking for more comprehensive financial services that include retirement, estate and tax planning,” stated USA Today. “Such a sweeping approach can not only maximize investment returns but also map out a life strategy.”
“We are extremely proud of this recognition,” said CPC’s Varun Marneni, “But we never rest on our laurels. It’s just an impetus to work even harder for our clients during these volatile times.”
USA TODAY 2024 Best Financial Advisory Firm The selection of the firms and the definition of the evaluation criteria were based on independent journalistic criteria of USA TODAY and Statista. The ranking of the best-registered investment advisory firms is based on two dimensions: recommendations by clients and peers and a firm’s growth of Assets under Management. Recommendations were collected via an independent survey sent to over 25,000 individuals. The development of AUM was analyzed both, short and long-term based on publicly available data. For the short-term view, the growth of AUM over a twelve-month period was calculated, from January 2023 to January 2024. For the long-term view, the growth of AUM over a five-year period was calculated, from 2019-2024. Recommendations had a weight of 20% while development of AUM had a weight of 80% (short-term and long-term growth were equally weighted) to derive the final score. The 500 RIA firms with the highest score were awarded as USA TODAY’s Best Financial Advisory Firms.
